The house is located next to the cable car, which takes you comfortably to the hiking area. Mountain bikers can set off from here on the new Grossarltal single trail or on one of the numerous Alpine pastures. You should definitely plan a hike to the 400-year-old Karseggalm, the only one in the valley where cheese is still made and smoked on an open fire every day in summer.
